End Of The Weak......

So for those who don't know End Of The Weak is an International MC competition based on individual skill rather than the traditional face to face battle.
This year, thanks to our very own Stig Of The Dump, the WORLD final of this respected comp will be held in London town this September.
Seriously, we have ridiculously talented lyricists here in the UK living and breathing their passion as anyone who has been to any of the Speakers Corner events before. And now this is the chance to show our fellow Hip Hop heads around the world what we're made of. Competing against Brazil, France, Spain, Germany, Holland and it's originating Country America it gives UK artists and fans a chance to showcase the homegrown talent while experiencing the scene on a wider scale. Winner
Last night saw the third UK heat with Arkaic going through to the final in September alongside Jack Flash and M9ine. One more heat to go, 2 months until the final.....exciting stuff so get involved.

Fairs are fun, fact

For anyone strolling through Hyde Park in Leeds Saturday morning the sight of 2 girls in random attire dragging a wheely bin full of tombola prizes and a bucket of goldfish up a hill must have been the last thing they expected to see.
But it was a worthy cause as we unpacked what would soon be a DIY funfair for our friends birthday surprise. HA! Hook a duck, coconut shy, bobbing apples, splat the rat nicely finished off with a game of rounders was a right day out.
Reverting to childhood was the most fun, I highly recommend any sort of outdoor activity for this summer from fairs to sports days. Way more entertaining than sitting in a beer garden, get yr rounders on.

So it's Foreign Beggars only London show so already we know it'll be amazing. But joining them are ABRI, a soul band from Dubai and France's Rouge A Levres so I'm looking forward to hearing some fresh world music.

Bit Wierd.....

This is incredible, if not a little disturbing that students from anywhere in the world would use their large amount of spare time to come up with it. It must have taken ages, go on guys well done.

This week.......

I reckon you should all head down to Wyld Pytch records in Soho, TRIPLE DARKNESS will be performing exclusive tracks from their debut LP "Anathema". Sets from DJ Snuff and DJ Roast, an open mic AND I'll be there.... As well as exclusive performances from Triple Darkness themselves, amazing.
I did a show for Diesel Radio (I'll put it up as a podcast soon) with these boys and they've got a lot of worthy stuff to say so listen up.

Usually I'm making radio shows but I thought it was about time I got one of these blogger things, everyone's doing it nowadays and I like to be down with the kids.
