For anyone strolling through Hyde Park in Leeds Saturday morning the sight of 2 girls in random attire dragging a wheely bin full of tombola prizes and a bucket of goldfish up a hill must have been the last thing they expected to see.
But it was a worthy cause as we unpacked what would soon be a DIY funfair for our friends birthday surprise. HA! Hook a duck, coconut shy, bobbing apples, splat the rat nicely finished off with a game of rounders was a right day out.
Reverting to childhood was the most fun, I highly recommend any sort of outdoor activity for this summer from fairs to sports days. Way more entertaining than sitting in a beer garden, get yr rounders on.
